The Victoria Law Group is a general practice law firm. We offer legal services in a wide array of Practice Areas. The Bankruptcy Group at the Victoria Law Group represents public and closely held companies, partnerships, trustees, committees, assignees and asset purchasers, as well as secured and unsecured creditors, in all aspects of bankruptcy law, debtor and creditors’ rights proceedings, including Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations; foreclosure and other enforcement proceedings; bankruptcy litigation; cash collateral stipulations; valuation proceedings; asset or going out-of-business sales; and involuntary petitions. We handle creditors’ rights litigation, including collection and foreclosure matters and enforcement of security interests, and are skilled in assisting creditors in obtaining early payment of claims. Our attorneys also have experience with cross-border insolvencies and cases under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code.
The Business and Commercial Transactions group of the Victoria Law Group is comprised of attorneys who are both generalists and authorities, to serve our clients in the most effective manner. Our practice aims at acting as "general counsel" for domestic and foreign businesses that do not have attorneys on staff or need to augment their in-house capabilities; and offering comprehensive, focused knowledge on the many legal issues that affect commercial transactions in and outside of the United States (see our General Counsel section below).
Our Business and Commercial Transactions attorneys provide day-to-day counseling to our clients in business-mediated areas involving third-party relationships, technology use and business expansion, and represent them in the negotiation and drafting of all types of contracts and agreements to protect their interests. We guide and represent our clients in and with respect to: Complex contractual agreements and standardizations; Technology and software licensing; Web site development agreements; Joint ventures; Outsourcing relationships; Franchise and distribution structure; Product and service supply agreements; Procurement agreements; and domestic and international distribution formation and termination.

Our Employment and Labor attorneys are extensively involved in proactively counseling and assisting clients who have been unlawfully aggrieved in the workplace. We pursue matters of Wrongful Termination, Discrimination, Retaliation, Disability Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, ERISA, pension and employee benefits, Employment class action litigation, Severance agreements and Employment Contracts, and working closely with our Immigration Group we handle International or Expatriate Employment which involves issues that can arise for Americans abroad or foreign workers in the U.S. The unfortunate reality of our lives is that some employers engage in unlawful behavior, or turn a blind eye when employees engage in unlawful behavior towards other employees.
